I won’t go into any spoilers from the finale of The Book of Boba Fett, but after Chapter six and Chapter five set huge expectations for the series finale episode. It’s going to disappoint some people out there who thought we gonna get a few big surprises for finale.
PROS
Lots of awesome fire fight scenes. Great action scenes for Boba Fett and Mando. Black Krrsantan is a BMF in this episode and he is a very tough wookie to take down. We got a cool Rancor and Boba Fett moment from the finale that fans will be very pleased with. We get more Cad Bane in the finale as he gets a few good scenes he shares with Boba Fett. We get a few prequel history references between Boba and Cad to reveal theirs history between the two. I thought Ming-Na Wen as Fennce was fantastic in the finale. She had a few great moments.
The make up artists for Cad Bane should be given an Emmy and recognition. Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni does a great job world building the universe of Star Wars with all of the characters. We learn some history of Boba Fett and Cad Bane that will peak interest from long time Star Wars fans. We do get our moment with Din Djarin and Gogru as fans will be so happy to see our favorite characters seeing each other again.
CONS
We get more power ranger moments from Boba Fett’s crew. I was taken out of the episode because of how they just don’t fit in the world of Star Wars. Some of sense of humor and the goofy moments didn’t work. Bring back Peli Motto was annoying. She was another weak part of the episode.
Having Boba Fett talking to much and seen taken his helmet off wasn’t what made Boba Fett cool in the first place. Temuera Morrison is a good actor but keeping Boba Fett a mysterious Bounty Hunter is what made him popular.
OVERALL 6/10
The episode was ok but was a let down in my opinion. It had a few good moments but it’s best of Boba Fett stays as a supporting character instead of the lead character since all the cool stuff about Boba Fett is with the Mandalorian. There is a mid-credit scene so stay tuned after the episode is over.
The entire series in my opinion wasn’t great. The best two episodes had nothing to do with Boba Fett at all. Hopefully this was a limited series for Boba Fett.
