REVIEW: Zack Snyder’s Justice League Cut

Zack Snyder’s Justice League Cut has a lot of new footage and a lot to digest from, because this film has so much going on. However this is the Justice League movie we all have want and did not know we really needed. Warner Brothers really dropped the ball with this film. NO SPOILERS

A lot of character development is fleshed out for the Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman. Lots of scenes we seen from the theatrical cut is shown in its full context and it is better executed. If you hated Wonder Woman 84 well Zack gives us a lot of great Wonder Woman warrior moments that will make fans love his version of Wonder Woman and he should be involved in Wonder Woman 3. Ray Fisher like many reviewers has said in their reviews. Cyborg is the heart of the Justice League film. We see how his character evolves from where we met him to where he is at.

The voices of Darksied Ray Porter, and Steppenwolf Ciaran Hinds both did a fantastic job in using their voices to bring these characters to life. Steppenwolf in the Snyder Cut is a better intermediating and feels like bigger threat than the theatrical cut. Ray Porter in my opinion is the voice of Darksied and he is very terrifying and intermediating using his voice. Ray’s voice creates a demanding presences. The CGI for both character is a lot better than I thought. So many action scenes with Steppenwolf shows how much of a threat he truly is.

Ben Affleck’s Batman is the Batman who have found his faith in his humanity after the conclusion of Batman v. Superman Dawn of Justice. His new batsuit for the Justice League reveals why he upgraded when you see him in action against Steppenwolf and the Parademons. Ben’s Batman has no bad or awkward moments like the theatrical cut. If you love Ben’s Batman he gets a lot of awesome moments. As for Jared Leto’s Joker he is creepy and a trillion times better from Suicide Squad film. I love the creepy look Snyder presented him. His scene with Ben’s Batman is very intense and is a great moment between the two. I thought Ben was a great Bruce Wayne and I love his moments with Jeremy Irons who is Alfred. We get a lot of Jeremy Irons in this and I think he might be the Alfred yet. Especially with his one word remarks with some of the Justice League characters. This cut will make some people love or like Affleck a lot more because of how much he fleshed out.

Snyder’s cut of Justice League fleshes out a lot of the roles that Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and the Flash all played as the founding members. Ezra Miller’s Flash had a great action moment and the movie explains why he runs like he is running n ice skating. If this is the very last time we see Henry Cavill as Superman. He went out like a boss and makes his case as the Superman for a lot of people. Many fans will screaming FUCK YEA! when he is back. Anytime we see Hans Zimmer’s Man of Steel score I had a giant smile because his presences is felt when he wasn’t on screen.

Cyborg and Flash was so much better in the Snyder cut. We see why Ray Fisher was frustrated with Warner Brothers with how this happen. He was fantastic as Cyborg and I like the stuff with his dad. Ezra was great as Barry and the Flash. lots of his scenes was perfectly executed. The stuff with Barry and Iris made me more invested in his movie Flashpoint or Flash22 when it comes out next year. Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL score and soundtrack was fantastic and it made the movie on bigger scale and especially with the action scenes. I enjoyed some of the Authr Curry stuff played by Jason Momoa. I like the shaded look for the Atlanteans. Lots of the Aquaman stuff is to build the hype for his solo film Aquaman, which was great in my opinion.

I love all of the Themyscira stuff that was shown. Themyscira and the Wonder Woman stuff feels like a real mini sequel from the first Wonder Woman film. If fans love Snyder’s 300 film you will love the Amazon action scenes.

I still did not like how Zack Snyder presented the Atlanteans talking under water by using some kind of bubble or shield so they can talk. It was difficult to watch that because of how good Aquaman the movie was. There is some minor scenes that could’ve been taken out, but it did not bother me as much.

This is not con on the movie but HBO Max struggled with buffering while I was watching the movie. Obviously everyone is watching the Snyder Cut. So I get why so much buffering, but I think AT&T should’ve better handle this knowing 100’s of millions of people are watching.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is one of the best DC movies and my favorite DCEU film of all time. It is one of the best comic book movies out there. Zack fleshes out everything from Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman Dawn of Justice into his Justice League film that pays off. Especially the stuff from BvS that was not paid off but is paid off in Justice League. Every minute of this film is not wasted. This movie does a great job building up to fantastic moments that you will want to re-watch again and again. Many fans and the general audiences will walk way with something great after watching the movie. Zack Snyder’s Justice League is his best DC movie to date and one of his best movies in recent memory. This is a must for all comic book fans and audiences. This movie is on a giant scale!!
