The world is devastating and heart broken right now, after a huge shock and the disbelief news. Just like everyone out there who heard the news after 10pm last night on August 28th 2020. Chadwick Boseman who the world knew as one of the greatest superheroes he brought to life the King of Wakanda T’Challa/Black Panther. The great king we all know, loved and impact the movie world forever passed away last night from stage 4 colon cancer at the young age of 43 years old. He leaves behind a beautiful loving family, his loving friends, and hundreds of millions of fans if not a billion. Black Panther was not just a movie. Black Panther become a symbol for so many people especially in the black community, because Chadwick Boseman didn’t play a superhero in a movie he is and will always be the Black Panther King of Wakanda who impacted the world with inspiration with his charisma, his smile and his integrity, and his powerful presences on and off screen.

Chadwick Boseman is a icon who will e remembered for having a real warrior spirit, his will to never give up and to never back down no matter how hard life becomes, and inspired to confront and fight what you believe in with every once of breath. With the way everything is in the United States and the world today especially for the black community. Black Panther is needed more than ever before. It was revealed last night he was fighting stage four colon cancer for four years. Which means since filming Civil War as Black Panther, he shows how mentally determined and physically strong he was by knowing he was fighting for his own life, and at the same time wanted to entertain and inspired hundreds of millions of people as Black Panther because that is how important Black Panther meant to him and to the many people in the black community.
Chadwick Boseman’s portrayal as Black Panther will always be iconic because Black Panther impact the way movie business see black superheroes. Not only was Black Panther the first movie with a black cast to make a billion dollars which is a huge monument, but his Black Panther made over 1.3 billion dollars which became the highest grossing solo superhero movie of all time and still is. Chadwick Boseman showed the world that Black Panther a black superhero who is powerful, integrity, and is a great king who cared about the people of Wakanda and the value of human life around him. He revealed to the world that Black Panther can stand on the same level and popularity as Batman, Superman, Iron Man, Wolverine, and Spider-Man. The first movie I seen Chadwick Boseman was when he stared as Jackie Robinson in the movie 42. As a fan who played baseball and love the game of baseball I was excited for 42. His performance as Jackie Robinson show’s Chadwick Boseman was a special actor. When he was announce as Black Panther in 2014 it was the perfect casting choice because of how talented he was in 42. I recommend readers to watch Get on Up that stared his portrayal as the great and legend James Brown, the action movie 21 Bridges, and his recent movie on Netflix Da 5 Bloods. These movies feature his best performances outside of Black Panther and are memorable movies.
I still can’t believe Chadwick Boseman not only as Black Panther but a man who inspired changes, hope, in the United States and to the world is gone. However he is a legend who will never be forgotten, because legends don’t die they will continue to inspire to bring hope, strength and to have the courage to stand up to fight and to bring changes to a world that is in a very dark place since the end of January of this year 2020. The world still hasn’t seen the light at the end of the tunnel and this is the worst year mankind has ever lived through in my opinion.
I can write paragraph after paragraph of how tragically and devastated I am about someone who’s legacy impact the world and continues to bring inspiration for those who need it through this dark time. Chadwick Boseman will be remembered for his charisma, his smile, his integrity, and the powerful presences he had on screen and off screen. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
Wakanda Forever! Rest in Paradise King!
